The Jake Thackray Syndrome
A tribute to the most original singer-song-writer that 20th Century England produced. Jake's comic songs were a feature of "The Frost Report", "The Braden Beat" and "That's Life" in the 1970's. Bizarre, surreal, sometimes saucy and often hilarious, his hugely varied repertoire includes songs about burglars disguised as nuns, unspeakably awful in-laws, rampant cockerels and unruly dogs - all human (and animal ) life is here ! The Syndrome are a group of Jake enthusiasts who have honed their performances of Jakes' songs to perfection, for your delight !
