School & Community
Arts Out West has worked in over 40 schools in West Cumbria, arranging shows, workshops and residencies. Most recently we have set up two week residencies for clusters of primary schools with World Muzik Makers, musicians and teachers from southern Africa who have over 10 years' experience in such work. Schools' work has normally been funded by grant applications made by the schools themselves, with Arts Out West giving advice and support.
